2. What we sell

  1. A new book, available as:
  2. Soft cover: R295 per copy.
  3. Hard cover: R395 per copy.
  4. E-book in PDF and ePub formats, supplied together in one purchase: R250. E-book pre-orders open on Wednesday, 14 October 2026; until then the e-book cannot be ordered.
  5. Prices are in South African rand. We are not registered for VAT, so no VAT is charged.
  6. For now we sell only to buyers with a delivery address in South Africa; orders for delivery elsewhere open on Wednesday, 14 October 2026.
  7. Delivery charges for printed copies are shown at checkout before you pay, and are set out on the Delivery page.

3. Pre-orders

  1. All formats are sold on pre-order.
  2. You pay the full price, including delivery, when you place your order.
  3. Printed copies (soft cover and hard cover) will be dispatched from Monday, 30 November 2026.
  4. E-books will be available to download from Monday, 30 November 2026. You will receive an email when your download is ready.
  5. If we cannot dispatch printed copies or make e-books available by that date, we will tell you by email and you may cancel your order for a full refund.
  6. You may cancel a pre-order within 5 business days after placing your order, for a full refund.

4. Placing an order

  1. Your order is an offer to buy. The agreement is concluded when we send the order confirmation email.
  2. You will be shown the full price, including delivery charges, before you pay. You can review and correct your order before you submit it.
  3. You can view, save and print these terms at any time from this page, and your order details from your account and your confirmation email.

5. Payment

  1. Payment is by card through Yoco, our payment provider.
  2. Card details are entered on Yoco’s secure payment page and are not stored by us.

6. E-books

  1. Each e-book is for the buyer’s personal use only.
  2. E-book files are marked with the buyer’s details to discourage unauthorised copying.
  3. You may not copy, share, resell or distribute the e-book files.

7. Delivery

8. Returns and refunds

Returns, exchanges and refunds are set out on the Returns page, which forms part of these terms.

9. Privacy

How we handle personal information is set out on the Privacy page, which forms part of these terms.

10. General

  1. These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of South Africa.
  2. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 or the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002.
  3. We may update these terms. The version in force when you place your order applies to that order.
